We are going to have our Bazaar Ramadhan  (mini food fair) soon. In this time of winter, what would be better than to warm up your tummies with our affordable and delicious authentic Malaysian food and drinks?
There will be stalls selling various kinds of mouth-watering Malaysian delicacies on that day!

Bersatu games this year was held in Dunedin. CMSA successfully defended the Overall Champions title with 4 Golds 6 Silver 4 bronze. CMSA would like to thank all our participants and supporters who were in Dunedin for Bersatu Games 2011.

In conjunction to the Bersatu Games 2011 in July, we will be having a Pre-Bersatu gathering in order for us to get together as a whole contingent. You will be given your CMSA jerseys for those who have ordered so be sure to attend this event. This is also a potluck gathering, so please bring some food and drinks for yourself and also for other members. Details of event are as follow:-

Time : 7.30 pm – 9.30 pm
Venue: New Common Room, Ilam Apartments

Another event – BANNER NIGHT – will be held just a few days before the Pre Bersatu gathering. We will be painting banners and flags for us to bring down to Dunedin. If you find yourself free, please drop by and lend a hand and also creative ideas on how to make our supporting banners and flags more outstanding! Details are as follow:-

Brushes would probably be limited so please feel free to bring your own brushes so we can get onto it quicker and better. More hands, less work, job well done! )

This morning, TVNZ have a very special Breakfast for Canterbury programme live from Cathedral Square in Christchurch in recognition of the region’s magnificent effort in dealing with the disastrous earthquake of September 4. Watch The Live Stream Here.

Paul, Pippa, Tamati and Corin are presenting Business and Breakfast on location. They’ll be talking to national and local leaders and many of those Cantabrians impacted by the disaster. And there’ll be performances from some of New Zealand’s top singers and bands.

Aucklanders and Wellingtonians can join in as well.

There are big screens in both centres and Wendy Petrie is outside Auckland’s Britomart and Matty McLean is at Wellington’s Queen’s Wharf speaking to city mayors and local personalities to help raise funds for victims of the quake.
